Kawada Law & Patent Office was established by Attorney Atsushi Kawada who has many experiences in various intellectual property cases such as proceedings for patent infringement, proceedings for rescinding trial decision, or proceedings for determining the reward of employee’s invention etc.
Our mission is to get the points of each case from a professional viewpoint, and to lead the case to the correct and proper solution based on an accurate analysis.

On 5th March 2018, Atsushi Kawada gave a presentation under the title : " Patentnichtigkeit und Rechtssicherheit im japanischen Recht mit Bezug zur deutschen Rechtslage (Patent invalidation and legal certainty in the Japanese law in comparison with the German situation) " (material for this presentation in PDF format) at the membership meeting of GRUR Regional Group West held in Cologne.

In April 2016, "Patent Litigation in Germany, Japan and the United States" －written by Pitz/Kawada/Schwab (C. H. Beck) － was reviewed by Dr. Heath in the International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law ( IIC ), Vol. 47, Issue 3 （Springer International Publishing AG）.

On 1st October 2015, Atsushi Kawada gave a presentation under the title : "Outline of the Patent Litigation in Japan with recent development + preliminary injunction"(material for this presentation in PDF format) at a seminar : "GET TOGETHER IN MUNICH" held by Vossius＆Partner in Munich.
